Casino Royale

after reading the newspapers and listening to the news i felt that casino royale was a damn good movie.i couldn't get the ticket owing to the crowd and my exams.the news and reporters went on and on abt the movie stating that it is the first bond movieand the film is raw with no funky gadgets and less heroine wooing.so i thought that the film must not make it big but then the news were telling otherwise.after all the previous bond movie acted by pierce brosnan had super cool gizmos having cutting edge techonology incorporated in them.i have watched the movies of brosnan and they r really good.though i got to watch only a couple of scenes of "to russia withlove",i felt that sean connery has the real talent for 007.there r innnovative gadgets used in sean connery film.note that thegadgets r innovative but not something damn sophisticated like in brosnan's.
now back to the topic.one of my buddies warned me after watching the movie that it is not as good as the previous one's.it was then i chanced upon a DVD.i thought that my friend was wrong and proceeded to watch the movie.the begining was good as he kills the MI6 section chief and his associate.all the actions were taken in black and white.next the location zoomed to Madagascar where bond has to capture a bomb maker.the chase sequence was really stunning.then came the sad part.our hero without any concern goes into the embassy and tries to capture him inspite of the guards.finally after realising its impossible he just kills the bombmaker and escapes with his cellphone.this is where the conceptstarted to falter.i mean u cannot just bust into an embassy and kill the person in coldblood and escape eventhough your identity is captured by cameras.an agent is supposed to be a person who can finish his job silently without alerting the necessary ppl involved if not atleast try not to let the public know abt it.then the plot goes to Le Chiffre.he is a banker who tries to fund many terrorist organisation.he tries to blast the airline in order to make more money but bond foils it.once again our hero is involved in chase of the villian who tries to blow up the plane.bond places the timer in the sucider's beltlink.but there is a flaw as during the chase fuel is flooded from the truck they r driving.the truck barely misses the plane when the suicide bomber jumps out leaving bond to crash on the plane.but when the crash occurs the plane is unharmed eventhough the fuel is spilled all over the place.Le Chiffre then holds a poker tournament to regain his losses but loses again to bond.once again there is a flaw in the plot.Le Chiffre's girl spikes bond's drink with digitalin.bond as an agent must atleast know where drink came from.i mean if he is damn good enough to spot his girl,walk up to her and kiss her then he must atleast be a bit observant abt his drink.his girlvesper lynd saves him.she is a banker who funds bond.bond loses his first round and gets defeated by Le Chiffre.vesper doesno give bond the money to play again.then bond in a desperate urge goes all out to finish off Le Chiffre which is highly unlikely for an agent as he must never lose his cool.then a CIA agent gives him money with which bond wins.Le Chiffre evadescapture by CIA and kidnaps vesper.then Le Chiffre captures bond too and attacks his genitals using a knotted rope to makebond reveal the account number.but a mr.white appears and kills Le Chiffre and his gang.later we see bond in a hospital.the banker arrives to transfer the winnings where bond says the password to vesper.then bond confesses his love and both go to venice.there he gives his resignation to M.but what bond doesn't know that his girlis a double agent who uses bond's winning to rescue her ex boyfriend.bond finds this out from M and hunts down vesper.then an attack takes place and bond destroys the foundation of a building under construction.as the building sinks bond triesto rescue the money and vesper.but suitcase goes underwater only to be taken by mr.white who has liasions with the terrorists.vesper who sees bond trying to save her feels that she has let him down and commits suicide.but she leaves mr.white's number in her cell with which bond tracks down and shoots his leg and says his trademark dialogue.

so i must say it is worth watching only once in the theatres.i dont recommend watching it again.i only hope the director and producers change him or atleast make better use of him.

JACKASS
1.actions r so so.they do not compare to the prvious bond films.2.daniel craig:(-he is balding and has a bit of a tummy(see it when Le Chiffre whips him).he does not look suave.
3.bond's r generally not blond haired.so daniel does not look so convincing.
4.lack of gizmos or atleast innovative gadgets.

Kotti Batch2004-08 Revisited

Hi the wolf is back again.
my buddies felt that enough treatment was not done in my previous blog.so here i am once again .i guess u ppl would hav got a basic idea of the famous five(not the story book).it is time to introduce u ppl to my seniors and juniors.our big time favourite senior is Sandeep.apart from Deepak and Maran every one had a big spat with him.he is our CSE dept.hero.he is a gr8 talker.no one can ever match up with him in a mouth fight.not that he uses filthy language but he knows how to subdue ppl with his speech.most of the teachers and students usually give in to him in order to avoid embaressment.u ppl must hav heard of sacrifices made by the tribes in order to appease their god.in the same way the juniors r forced to keep regular treats to keep him happy.this bugger has never taken a dime out of his pocket to spend for any damn thing i tell u!!!honestly from college canteen to roadside hotels we gotta cough up for his deliquant fodder.Guru had a big fight with him regarding the fresher treat in second sem.i had a fight with him in the third sem for the same reason and Kausik had a fight with him in the fourth sem regarding the same.i would hav spent abt 200 bucks for him alone.inspite of all his misgivings he taught me something and that is never to spen unnecessarily when others r ready to spend for u.its logical isin't it???when others r ready to help u only a fool would refuse such an offer.dont worry Sandeep we will keep up ur good work.of course the mech trio Hemant aka big brother,Vamsi the producer and Ramanand the gullible.i never talk much with the trio.only Kausik has ever chatted with them.the ECE dept super singer Manish is also seen with the trio.all the four r extremely party type and studious too.another mech is there and eventhough he is close to the big brother,he rarely talksand is extremely quite.his name is Senthil.there r 2 EEE dept seniors.they r Jeyandran and Jagan.both r extremely opposites.former is extremely studious while the latter is extremely easygoing.the former spends every day revising while the otherstarts studying only bfore exams.the former believes in struggle and toil while the other believes in enjoyment and relaxation.yet the two attract like the opposites of a magnet.another ECE dept fellow is Dinesh.he has a peculiar voice and is always teased with a girl in his bus stop.there is another person i hav not told abt.he is Namasivayam.my senior.eventhough he spends his time away from everyone and sleeps through the whole journey,i hav some special respect for him.anyone on looking at him will think that he is lazy and conservative but only if u spend some time close to him will u realise that behind that lazy face mask is the face of a clever and intelligent person.he talks rarely but only useful stuff.he has helped me in many ways and so i help him out whenany junior tries to act over enthu bfore him.
i guess thats it for now.i 'll give u more fun facts abt my college bus later.so dont miss reading my issues!!!!!
PS:Guru talks a lot abt his heroism only when the seniors r not around.Kausik is frequently getting damaged by the senior and Guru combo.Maran,BakBak and me never talk much bfore our seniors.only the first two talk and only the latter gets damaged quite often.........:)

Batch 2004-08 Kotti Bus

Frankly speaking there r less no. of 2004-08 batch than all the others.most prominent of the batch r Guru,Deepak,Kausik and Mouli(hey thats me!!!).
now let me list out the ppl
GURU--Dada,Manasthan,Thalaivar etc(i hope u get the drift abt him)
DEEPAK--jerk,crazy,humorous
KAUSIK--big time flirt,big mouth,knowledeble,pissed quite easily etc
MOULI--laughing,making a fool of everyone inc. him,never angry(ppl need to be like him)
MARAN--quite,reserved but talk big when having fun
LEO--new entry,nothing much except he doesn't mix
SRINIVASAN--new entry,quite,reserved,loner
BALA--funny guy,nice to talk with,cant tolerate mokkai(esp from bak bak)

not mentioning girls here(sorry kausik!!!!i'll make up to u sometime for this)

the batch hotshots r the first 5.
Guru is the person looked upon when there is trouble,when something needs to be done.he is mostly serious and often fights with others if things dont go in his way.the other 4 dont hav lots of fun without him cos when he is there there is always a sense of security from teachers,conductor etc.so he is not my type of guy.come on if u cant laugh,be serious and cant tolerate mistakes then its no fun.
PS--he is a gr8 fan of Vijaykanth,Rajnikanth.if any one talks bad abt tamil or hte heroes Guru gets mightly pissed.he has a big crush on Jyotika(u gotta be kidding)and compares himself to KakhaKakha Surya(is he for real).

Deepak is humorous,good at putting mokkai(awwww!!!stop it bak bak).if u read his testi his friends would hav written that he is serious.i hav never seen him to be serious.his is always cracking jokes ond rarely angry but never serious.i am the only person who laughes at his jokes,mokkai.somehow ppl get along with him.he pisses persons around him when he is close to his ECE batch.he does such stupid stuff that would make a normal person blush bfore a girl.

Kausik is a flirt to the core and always is always BROKE when going out with us only.he has a lot of girl friends than boys.Guru and Kausik r always at loggerheads.guru has a lot of friends in his class just like bakbak.whereas kausik knows girls from most of the dept.Guru is really jelous of this.both of them had a big spat over 1 girl and it took quite a while for things to cool down between them.he is knowledeble and knows lots of high ups.i always argue with him over any small reason.i lose the argument mainly cos he knows the ppl involved.

CHANDRAMOULI(Thats me).i am the only person in hte bus who has the tendency to laugh at anything.i frankly dont give a damn abt my worries.i envy kausik cos he has a way with the girls which i am unable to do.i always smile or laugh and try to make others happy by making a fool of others or myself.even if i get humiliated i dont care as making others laugh is quite a challenge.
the gr8 actor Kamal Hassan has told that out of all the roles in the film only comedian is the most challenging one.i dont get along with Guru much cos he doesn't like my tendency to laugh when things r serious.he has even resorted to fists.

ManiMaran is good boy.i like him a lot as he is fun to talk with and does not crack jokes like BakBak or serious like Guru or damn argumentative like Kausik.BakBak and Maran get along quite well eventhough BakBak slaps him a lot.Maran gets angry quite fast like sodium and punches on the others head.his anger also evaporates quite fast.he hates it when i crack jokes on the eve of sem or cycle test.also he is the most studious of hte group even though Kausik is the first.

other important person i forgot to mention
he is supposed to be a year younger than us.his name is ThamilArasan.only Guru can tolerate him.he gets on everyone's nerve except Guru.Guru has a odd way of making friends with weird ppl.this thamilarasan is a royal pain in hte butt and is highly knowledeble and disrespectful towards his seniors and pokes his nose into anything which is concerned with studies.it irritates us when he tells us something abt a topic during tests.(As If We Didn't Know It)
